Well, I guess I didn't need that stomach lining after all...

I was minding my own business today, ready to wander the aisles at Target, in search of a very small list of things. I had a plan. A good, well thought out plan. And then I noticed a new chip on the end cap. Target knows what's up. They know people like me are going to see it. And there it is. A brand new Flamin' hot chip. I seriously just had my husband take away half of a bag from me a week ago because I kept feeling sick after eating so many. I don't claim to have self control in the slightest. It's what the Lord would deem one of the "Fruits of the Spirit" gifts that I am still working on. So, the 3 for $6 sign told me all I needed to know and I grabbed 1 bag and tossed it in the cart. Also, all day yesterday I thought it was 2 for $6. Now I regret my decision to purchase only one bag.

It's pretty much all downhill after that. I spent the day longingly looking over at this beautiful pink bag that lie on my messy dining room table, screaming to be opened and enjoyed. Finally, after cooking, cleaning, putting the kids to bed and seeing my husband take the dog out, I knew it was my time. Our time. I placed the camera on the docking station thing I bought on amazon sometime last year and shared what will be known as my first Honest and Unbiased post on my new website.

I'm currently listening to some Playlist on Pandora, devoted to Hip Hop. Not this new stuff, the 90's stuff. It's good stuff. I digress...
My review: These chips, they had me thinking I would either love them or hate them. I didn't care much for the wack packaging but I guess it's safe and what people would recognize as Hip Hop Inspired? I don't know but whatever. These chips are tasty and nostalgic. As I mention in the video, I have spent the better part of my adolescences eating regular Flamin' Hot Cheetos with a large dill pickle, as it's side. It was what I did before I learned the joy of lime. I opened the bag, smelled the chip and could immediately taste the sour from the dill pickle flavoring. It also smelled a little dilly but after the initial sour goes away, the spicy, wonderful and incredibly recognizable Flamin' Hot flavor kicks in. It's good. The food scientist at Lays figured out a way to merge both Dill and Flamin' Hot flavors without them being gross or overwhelming. I ate quite a few and then my husband walked in and gave me a stern talking to, followed by a look of disappointment and now I have to give my chips to Sarah. It's been about an hour. I ate ice cream after but I have heart burn now. My husband wasn't wrong but for me, this experience was worth it. Also, I saved $1.19 so... win!

See the video in all it's glory.
