Most websites speak in third person. I'm just one person. I talk to you like I’d talk to anyone else—with a hint of sarcasm, kindness, and humor (I guess).

Is it necessary to offer my full name? Does that actually help you get to know me? Probably not. So here's what you do need to know: I'm 40—and that happened quickly and rather unexpectedly. I have a million kids, and we homeschool. I care about the right kind of pizza toppings, and yes, pineapple is one of them. I don’t enjoy long walks on the beach because it includes the two worst things: walking and the beach.

I enjoy copious amounts of coffee, do not (and likely will not) drink enough water, love tacos and pizza, and—yeah, I know it’s wrong—but I really enjoy ketchup on my hot dogs. Am I a Latina lifestyle content creator based on the Southwest Side of Chicago? You bet. Do I speak Spanish? Not a lick. I love small businesses because I’ve been one F-O-R-E-V-E-R. I try to support wherever and however I can. My real goal? To share, connect, and support small businesses, artists, and restaurants. I focus a lot of my content on Doing What’s Manageable—because honestly, that’s all any of us can do.

I try (more selfishly than not) to maintain balance in my life and hopefully encourage others to do the same. I keep things relatable with humor (I know, you thought I’d use my feminine wiles) and offer honest and unbiased (see what I did there?) takes on food, family, travel, recipes, games, and of course, the real money maker—product recommendations (where I’ve found very little success, honestly).
